The Excitement Never Ends!

Daddy and Cameron enjoying a Sunday nap.

Saturday was the Little League's Opening Ceremonies. Brayden and Landon's baseball team - The Diamondbacks! Fortunately since Daddy is the coach, they are able to be on the same team. Its not only fun to see them play together, but it is much easier for mommy when it comes to practice and games. :) Their friends are on the team as well.

Cameron wanted to be a part of the excitement!

Landon and his buddy Devon.

Brook and I ventured to Disneyland with our boys. We all had a great time and the boys especially loved the new Toy Story ride. I think Cameron enjoyed it so much that he felt it was worth getting lost for, and I mean that literally. Shortly after riding the ride we stopped to eat a little snack. Next thing I realize is that Cameron is not right by the stroller where he had been eating his fruit roll up. I yelled his name expecting him to jump out saying "here I am" but that was not the case. I started to freak out. The park was closing and it was getting dark. We got the employees involved and guests of the park also started to help by calling out his name. Minutes seemed like eternity. As I was running around hysterical and beginning to think the worst, Brooke yelled that Brayden spotted him in the distance. A friendly employee was knelt down talking to Cameron in the middle of the walkway. Cameron had his hands in his sweatshirt pocket and he was as calm as could be. After hugging and kissing him all over and thanking the Lord for answering my prayers, I tried to explain to him that you do not run off away from mommy. We came to the conclusion that he ran off to see Mr. Potatohead at the Toy Story ride. Running off has become too much of a recurrent activity for Mr. Cameron, and he will no longer be able to do that cause mommy is going to have him on a leash. To lose a child is a parents worst nightmare and I got a glimpse of that and it is not something I ever want to relive. Even though it resulted in a pounding headache, I had my precious Cameron safe in my arms. This was truly an experience that made me count my blessings.

Jaxson is changing everyday. His hair, we have noticed, even has a tint of red to it.

Smile!

Hi everyone! I am almost 6 weeks old.
Mommy caught this smile on camera. I am starting to smile more to voices, and not just when I have gas. :)

This is mommy's favorite outfit on me - her camera kept clicking.

Brayden and his buddies had their 2nd grade program last night.

Jaxson was thinking about waking to watch the Laker game with Daddy and finally did. Go Lakers!

Big brother Landon loves to help.

Snow Day!

Well, here in CA, we have to drive to find snow to enjoy! Although, this past weekend we did not have to drive far. With the last big set of storms, lots of snow fell in the local mountains. Together with our friends Brooke and Bryan, and all of our boys (and yes, that made a total of eight, young, energetic boys) we went and spent a few hours of our Saturday in the snow. We found the perfect spot and the snow was great. The kids loved sledding and it was fun to watch them have snowball fights. We all had a blast and hope to go again soon before warm, sunny CA lives up to its reputaion.

Daddy ate it!

What a month it has been!

Well, I am trying to keep my mind busy so my emotions don't get the best of me. So what better way to do that than update my blog. Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life, and I soon saw that it also was for my boys. I had to watch my mom and dad drive off to start their new life in Utah. We are all excited for them to go enjoy life in a new state and to build their new home and to create new memories, but it is extremely difficult having two of your best friends leave you. My mom and dad are incredible people and they have always been there, not only for me but for my family. I know that they will continue to always be there, but I have to accept that there will now be physical distance involved. Hopefully not for too long though as we hope to follow and move to Utah after residency so we can be near our families. We are going to miss them so much. I could go on and on, but I thought I was doing this post to try and ease my mind. So enough writing and now on to some of the fun times we have been experiencing.

There is no denying the truth to this shirt ...
I am 1 month old today!

Valentines Day! We shared the evening with six of our great friends. Us girls made a candle-lit, 4-course meal for our husbands. We'll see if the guys can top this next year. :)

Jaxson loves to pucker his lips as he observes his surroundings. And at just a few weeks old, he is already telling me he is tired of having his picture taken.

The five most important men in mommy's life!

The second weekend of this month was very busy! My little sister is getting married so we went wedding dress shopping. To her surprise, she found the one! It was very exciting and she is going to make a beautiful bride. From there we went to dad's surprise retirement party. All of his grandkids were there to help him celebrate along with family, friends, and co-workers. The following day was Jaxson's blessing. He looked so cute in his blessing outfit made by Grammy. It was a fun weekend with all of our family and, needless to say, it was full of excitement and lots of good food!

Papa and his 4 Buckos! We went to Papa's work one last time to help his co-workers celebrate his retirement. The boys enjoyed seeing the milk be bottled. Congratulations Dad (Papa), We love you!!
