Our Family of 6 3/4!

A couple of weeks ago, a good friend of ours took some family pictures for us before our new addition arrives. Mommy had never done any maternity pics and she wanted some with her boys. We had a lot of fun doing them. Here is just a glimpse of the many great pics we got. Thank you Brittany for capturing these priceless moments during this exciting time in our lives. Our next family picture will include our baby girl Megan. :)

Mommy also took some belly shots that turned out beautiful. Being pregnant is an incredible gift that I have been blessed now to experience 5 times, and now I am grateful to have it captured in a beautiful way for me to treasure forever. Thanks again Brittany!

Our New Home!

In mid October, we finalized paperwork and after a less than 30 day escrow, we moved into our new home. Just miles, from our first home (which we are now renting), we decided that it was time to expand our surroundings with our growing family. After residency, Josh accepted a job working for Kaiser in Fontana so we figured what better place to stay than where we have built a second family with all of our friends.
It has definitely been fun getting settled in and is still a work in progress. More than doubling our previous home in size, we have more than enough space for things. It is just all about finding the perfect place for things and filling the spaces to make it our own home. "All in time" is my new motto when I look at empty rooms and bare walls, but its coming along. We have the neccessities at least. Cleaning the five bathrooms and the rest of the house is a bit overwhelming, but I just try and take it a bit at a time and not stress. Yah, right! Anyway, we love it and it is finally becoming our home. The boys love playing outside in our cauldasac with all the neighbor kids and the atmosphere is peaceful near the hillside and we love our view of the valley.
Home Sweet Home!

My kitchen with an island, something I always wanted. :)

Finally, a fireplace too. And we also have one in our bedroom to make it even more perfect.

So with a fireplace comes a mantel, that I can finally decorate and hang our stockings from. Fun, fun!

The rest of the house is coming along. As we finish rooms, we will share them with you so keep posted. Until then ...

Family Pics

In September, before leaving for our Hawaii trip, all of us were together in UT with everyone accounted for (minus our upcoming arrival) so mom took advantage and set up family pictures. We had a fun time keeping the kids entertained, but for the most part things went well. There may have been a lot of bribing and snacks, but I think the pictures turned out great. Fun times!

Halloween Fun

Our scary vampire with his red fauhawk. :)
Deputy Josh and his prisoner. (He was so proud of his own mustache.)
The Deputy is taking a pizza break in style. :) Enjoying food, fun and friends at our ward Halloween trunk-or-treat.

Our cute Mickey Mouse!
The one and only .... Harry Potter!
Run! It's a vampire!
Jaxson got into the pumpkin carving thing. :)
Helping each other out in getting all of the slimey seeds out.
Yuck! The boys did it, but probably did not like doing it.

We Can't Believe It!

Yes, if you can read this, it is true! IT'S A GIRL! It took 3 ultrasounds on 3 different machines to prove to me that it was true. I kept asking the doctors, "For real .... are you really serious?" I was in shock. I am now 16 wks pregnant and due April 2nd. I found out the exciting news at work one night so had to find some fun way to tell Josh and the boys. What better way than to go shopping for my little girl. I went and bought a few things for her and wrapped them in a unisex bag and had Josh and the boys open it up to announce that the baby in mommy's tummy is a GIRL. Still its so very strange to say that but it is definitely exciting and we are all looking forward to her joining our family.

All smiles and giggles to think they are going to have a little sister :)
The boys are excited and showing off just a few things to begin their little sisters wardrobe.

Proud Daddy!
